Welcome to Dog Clicker Training Resource
Hi I am Lily and welcome to my website: Dog Clicker Training Resource. This site is dedicated to people the world over, who love their dogs and understand that it is their responsibility to train them.
It has been said that a trained dog is a joy to have and yet, looking around us, we see many untrained dogs; dogs that love jumping on people when greeting them, pulling hard on a leash when going for a walk etc.
An untrained dog can sometimes become a problem dog. Time and again we will hear of owners giving up their dogs because they are simply not controllable. They become a nuisance not because they are bad dogs, but simply because they are never taught the proper way to behave. A dog chewing on your furniture, shredding your newspaper, digging away in your garden is not doing it intentionally out of malice. These are just natural behaviours they display that we find annoying. Our job, therefore is to teach them how to behave appropriately and not simply give up on them. And in doing so, you will soon see that a stronger bond will develop between your dog and you.
I have 3 lovely dogs (all featured in the banner above), Duchess, a Golden Retriever, Yukie, a Yorkshire Terrier and Rufus CDX, a Miniature Schnauzer who is the 2009 Singapore Kennel Club (SKC) Reserve Obedience Dog of the Year. Friends, neighbours and relatives have time and again commented how well behaved our dogs are. It is not a coincidence that they are all well mannered dogs; they are simply well trained.
And in creating this web site, I hope that many more will be inspired to train their dogs. Dogs are lovely companions; they are 100% loyal, love you unconditionally and will always be there for you. It’s no wonder they are called “Man’s Best Friend.” It is time we train them and become their best friend too. It is not difficult and can be very enjoyable, especially if you know how.
